Is Shah Rukh a brand? Definitely yes, a brand with a very large fan following! This initiative by him undoubtedly sets the ball rolling when an actor and an influencer tries to create awareness among the general public on the importance of voting and choosing a government of their choice.

On March 13, 2019, Shah Rukh Khan was one of the 3 Bollywood personalities to be urged on Twitter to “creatively ensure high voter awareness and participation in elections”. Shah Rukh's rap could be a response to that, but what is important is the intent, and the message he is trying to convey on the importance of voting to the very large audience he is able to reach.

Voting is not just our legal right, it is our duty! Everyone above the age of 18 should exercise their franchise.

Yeh Hai Farz Hamara! Vote Karo!
