Kansai Nerolac Paints: Happy Village (Ad 2018)

~ Kolla Krishna Madhavi

Healthy living with myriad colors!

Colors can be a key element to happiness! Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd. and Neemrana Group of Hotels along with renowned artists, Neeraj Goswami, Vikram Kumar and Swapna Maini painted more than 850+ households, an Anganwadi and 2 schools in Sarhetta - one of the most remote villages of Alwar, Rajasthan to create a beautiful and healthy environment.

This mission gained momentum with a large-scale participation from the villagers who took the onus of bringing in happiness into their lives by cleaning up their surroundings and painting a kaleidoscope of colors on their dwellings.

The healthy home paints with their brilliant hues, transformed a small village into a vibrant environment for the inhabitants while helping to attract tourists. This, in turn, enabled the villagers to increase their employment opportunities.

The houses, roads and other infrastructure were in a tumbledown state. Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd., one of India's leading and innovative paint companies, had a vision to bring awareness among the dwellers of Sarhetta and educate them to keep their surroundings hygienic, healthy and happy through the magic of art, paintings, and colors. Neemran's vision was to foster the holistic development of villages in Rajasthan.

The intention of this drive was to provide not only the current but also the future generations with a happy and healthy environment by enhancing their standard of living. Other than Sarhetta, the ultimate goal is to spread this initiative to other parts of the country as well.

Transforming India! Transforming lives with public participation!
